Daniel Grasman has over twenty years of global advisory and investment experience with postings in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. He has advised numerous global companies in the industrial, technology, oil & gas, and materials sectors on their strategy and on their major investment decisions, including M&A and large capital investments. Moreover, he has served as an institutional investor in the industrial, oil & gas, and materials sectors.
Daniel started his career in the late 1980’s as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen and subsequently with Strategic Decisions Group and McKinsey and Company based in London, San Francisco area, Brazil and Australia.
He then advised multiple internet companies, and co-founded Xelector plc in the late 1990’s, which developed a pioneering recommendation engine for a retail financial products. He took the company from concept to 100-person European comparison shopping platform for utility products and mobile phone plans. In 2001, he joined s a Vice President of Business Development for the Global NetWeaver Initiative at SAP AG, based in Paris, he was an integral part of the effort to identify the most relevant business opportunities for SAP’s new product platform and drive the global market penetration.
From 2004 to 2016 he was an institutional investment manager at AllianceBernstein and then OppenheimerFunds covering the in the industrial, oil & gas, and materials sectors for global and US funds.
He holds an MBA from Harvard University and an MS in Engineering from Stanford University.
